"Twelfth Night"

When the company came to playTwelfth Night at the National Stage of Alençon, an actress and the artistic collaborator of Sylvain Levitte intervened with pupils of Première and Terminale Option theater. Clara Noel and Juliette Savary took place on October 12, 2020 atLPO Navarre/Leclerc, over a 2-hour session with a group of around 25 students.The students saw the showTwelfth Night the day before.
The heart of the session was an individual exploration of sensations, in space walking exercises: balance on the board, listening to stop together silently. Then each will go through states inspired by the themes ofTwelfth Night : fatigue, excitement, feminine, masculine etc. From a sensitive and intimate exploration, we then proposed in half-groups, meetings in this mixture of genres, with inversion of genres, accentuation of certain traits to the point of cliché and, gradually, the search for nuance. The students were able to physically experience the game on the board - playing another - and we ended the session with a great discussion where everyone could talk about how they felt.

The company organizes with L'ARCHIPEL in Dieppe and within the framework of"Culture comes alive in Normandy" a theater workshop led by Pierre Hancisse and Sylvain Levitte in the fall of 2019.Work with children and adolescentsfrom 10 to 17 years old is planned for two weeks on craftsmen inA Midsummer Night's dream of Shakespeare. Make way for improvisation and lots of games: because playing is a game!

The company runs introductory theater workshops at the Community of Commune of Etrépagny in Normandy with childrenfrom 6 to 11 years old. On the program listening games, space, emotions, diction sentences, a little work on the voice. We set off to discover the theater with playfulness. Children learn to act "as if" and to interpret a role with strong emotions!! Small improvised scenes were presented at the end of the year's work and we start again in 2019-2020!
